Hello! I am originally from South Africa but became a US citizen in 2007. My family lives in Zillah, but I love teaching in Bickleton with friendly people and supportive parents. I have a degree from Rutgers, NJ. My passion is literature but I also teach writing and public speaking (Poetry Out Loud). My teaching motto is "I will prepare and someday my chance will come"  - which is a quote by Abraham Lincoln,  16th President of the United States. My job is to help your child prepare for that "chance"  -  career,  college,  life  - by learning the important skills of reading, writing, speaking,  and thinking from a solid, classic education.
