TRACK SEASON-District will be May 18 at IKE in Yakima at 3:00 pm. State Track is May 25-26 in Cheney.
MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK- Today is your last chance for the year to see this team run, throw, jump, hurdle, and give it their all. They will be in Glenwood today for a league meet at 4:00 pm. Go Pirates!
SPRING CONCERT- The Bickleton Spring Extravaganza will be held on Tuesday, May 22, at 7:00 pm. Students are to dress in Church-like clothes. Grades K-12 will be involved in the concert. The Mabton High School Band will be our special guest.
BURN BAN- Klickitat County Fire District #2 (Bickleton Area), is now under a burn ban until October 31. This means no outdoor burning of garbage, weeds, ect. Questions? Call Cory Wilson or Mike Brown.
AWARDS BANQUET- The junior class mothers / students are hosting the Awards Banquet scheduled for May 29 at 6:00 pm. This is a formal event and the theme this year is Pirate Country. The 7th and 8th grade will be serving dinner and dessert during the banquet.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL- The last day of school will be on June 7th. All fines / fees need to be paid before students can receive their report cards. This includes any library books not returned to the district.
BACCALAUREATE GRADUATION- Baccalaureate will be held on May 30th, at 7:00 pm at the Bickleton Presbyterian Church. The class of 2001 will be graduating on Sunday, June 3rd at 4:00 pm. in the high school gym.
LIBRARY CLOSURE DATE- On may 25, the school's two libraries will be closed for the remainder of the school year. Mrs. Rapach will be doing book inventory during this time. Please be sure that your child has returned any books that he / she may have checked out during the school year. The school has received many calls from the Golderndale Regional Library regarding students that have over-due books.
LAST DAY CELEBRATION- All kids and adults are invited to the end-of-year celebration Sunday May 20, from 9:30 am-10:45 am. This celebration will be held in the Presbyterian Church basement. Please be sure to wear your blue hats / bonnets or other blue clothing. |
