I retired in 1992 from Renton School District after 40 years in education. Bob and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in Feb 2004. We live in Yumas Arizona and spend summers in Washington.

Ada Ruth Rasmusson Whitmore

I didn't get very far from Bickleton. Married Christmas Eve 1947 to Lawrence Whitmore ('46 grad) and we moved to the Whitmore Ranch south of Bickleton 15 miles at the "Y". Eventually moved to the Whitmore Homestead which we named Whoop-N-Holler Ranch after having 5 children. We farmed for many years with Lawrence's folks and our children. Eventually we set up a museum here at the ranch. Lawrence had so many relatives who did not have children and there were so many interesting old things to enjoy we wanted to share them with everyone. So April 1 to September 30 we have the museum open and the other six months we work at new ideas. Our five children--Carolyn Cleveland lives in Spokane, Jack, Tom and Dave all have Bickleton addresses and Christine lives in Prosser. We have 8 grandchildren which we love dearly. I am very much into the history of this end of Klickitate County and always looking to borrow old pictures of this area. Have put together many "mini" notebooks of this and that.
